Flip Clock: Big Digital Alarm
Terms of use
The terms that apply when you use the app.
Effective date: 2026-10-06
Contact: klm.labs.inc@gmail.com
Flip Clock: Big Digital Alarm (shown on your Home Screen as Flip Clock) is made by KLM Labs. These terms are the agreement between you and KLM Labs when you use the app. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains what is kept on your device and what the app collects.
Apple's standard licence applies
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on a point Apple's licence covers, Apple's licence governs. Purchases in the App Store are also subject to Apple's own terms.
What you may do with the app
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal use.
You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app itself, or try to get around its purchase checks.
Plans, free trial and payment
Every feature of the app, including the clock, alarms and widgets, needs an active plan or free trial. There are two plans:
- Yearly: an auto-renewing subscription, one year at a time. In the United States it costs US$29.99 a year. It can be shared with your family through Apple's Family Sharing.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase with nothing to renew. In the United States it costs US$39.99. It does not include Family Sharing.
The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Prices in other countries are set through the App Store in local currency, may include local taxes, and are the ones shown to you at purchase.
Free trial. The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Apple decides eligibility; generally, one trial per Apple Account for this app's subscription. When the trial ends, the Yearly subscription starts and you are charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you allow notifications, the app can remind you 2 days before the trial ends.
Payment and automatic renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase, or when a free trial ends. The Yearly subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If a price changes, Apple tells you in advance and asks for your agreement where its rules require it. If a renewal payment fails, Apple retries it for a while; your access ends when the period you paid for ends.
Cancelling. Cancel in your Apple Account, not by deleting the app:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Or, in the app, open Settings → Manage Subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Switching to Lifetime does not cancel the Yearly subscription; cancel the Yearly plan yourself so it does not renew.
Restoring. Plans belong to the Apple Account that bought them; the app has no account of its own. On a new iPhone or iPad, or after reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore on the plans screen, or Settings → Restore Purchases.
Refunds. Apple handles all payments, so KLM Labs cannot charge or refund your account directly. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds follow Apple's policies and the law where you live.
When a plan ends. When a subscription or trial ends, or a purchase is refunded, the app shows the plans screen and nothing else until you subscribe, buy Lifetime or restore an active plan. Your alarms, look and settings stay in the app on your device and come back when you do. Alarms that are already on stay scheduled on your device and can still ring. Stop silences one ring; a repeating alarm stays on. To switch them all off, tap Turn off alarms on the plans screen (it shows while an alarm is scheduled) and confirm: your alarms stay in the list, switched off. Turning off the app's alarm access in Settings also stops them ringing.
Changes to plans. We may change plans, prices or trial offers for new purchases. Changes for existing subscribers are made through Apple under its rules and notices.
Alarms: what to expect
Alarms are scheduled with Apple's alarm system (AlarmKit) and ring with the system alarm sound, also when your iPhone or iPad is on Silent or in a Focus. An alarm does not ring if the app's alarm access is turned off in Settings, or if your device is switched off or its battery is empty. Use Test alarm in the alarm editor to hear how it sounds. Check your alarms before you rely on them, and keep a second way to wake up or be reminded when missing an alarm would matter, for example for travel, work or medicine.
Keeping the screen on uses more battery. If you choose to keep it on while your device is not charging, keep an eye on the battery so it does not run out before an alarm.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop offering it. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest change, and using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, without errors or fit for a particular purpose, and we exclude implied warranties.
To the extent the law allows, KLM Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, a missed alarm, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live, including any statutory right to a refund or remedy. If a term conflicts with such a right, that right wins.
