Fraction Feet Inch Calculator
Terms of use
The terms that apply when you use the app.
Effective date: 2026-09-29
Contact: klm.labs.inc@gmail.com
Fraction Feet Inch Calculator (shown on your Home Screen as Construction Calculator) is made by KLM Labs. These terms are the agreement between you and KLM Labs when you use the app. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains what stays on your device and what the app collects.
Apple's standard licence applies
The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on a point Apple's licence covers, Apple's licence governs. Purchases in the App Store are also subject to Apple's own terms.
What you may do with the app
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own work or personal use. The results, PDFs and notes you make with it are yours to use for any lawful purpose.
You may not resell, rent or redistribute the app itself, or try to get around its purchase checks.
Plans, free trial and payment
Every feature of the app needs an active plan or free trial. There are two plans:
- Yearly: an auto-renewing subscription that gives access to the calculator and every tool for one year at a time. In the United States it costs US$9.99 a year.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase that gives access to the calculator and every tool with nothing to renew. In the United States it costs US$19.99. Lifetime includes Family Sharing, so members of your Apple Family Sharing group can use it too. The Yearly plan does not include Family Sharing.
The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Prices in other countries are set through the App Store in local currency, may include local taxes, and are the ones shown to you at purchase.
Free trial. The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Apple decides eligibility; generally, one trial per Apple Account for this app's subscription. When the trial ends, the Yearly subscription starts and you are charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you allow notifications, the app can remind you 2 days before the trial ends.
Payment and automatic renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase, or when a free trial ends. The Yearly subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If a price changes, Apple tells you in advance and asks for your agreement where its rules require it. If a renewal payment fails, Apple retries it, and you keep access for up to 16 days while it does.
Cancelling. Cancel in your Apple Account, not by deleting the app:
- On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Or, in the app, open Settings → Your plan → Manage subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Buying Lifetime does not cancel a Yearly subscription; cancel the Yearly plan yourself so it does not renew.
Restoring. Plans belong to the Apple Account that bought them; the app has no account of its own. On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore on the plans screen, or Settings → Your plan → Restore Purchases.
Refunds. Apple handles all payments, so KLM Labs cannot charge or refund your account directly. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds follow Apple's policies and the law where you live.
Checking your plan. The app checks your plan when it starts. Offline, it uses the answer it last saved. Buying, restoring and the first check need an internet connection.
When a plan ends. When a subscription or trial ends, or a purchase is refunded, the app shows the plans screen until you subscribe, buy Lifetime or restore an active plan. Your history and settings stay on your device.
Changes to plans. We may change plans, prices or trial offers for new purchases. Changes for existing subscribers are made through Apple under its rules and notices.
Check your numbers
The app does arithmetic and applies standard formulas to the measurements you enter. It rounds results to the precision you choose. It does not check building codes, loads, safety or site conditions, and it is not engineering, architectural or legal advice. You are responsible for your inputs and for checking results, measurements and code requirements before you cut, order or build.
Your data
Your calculations, history and settings are stored on your device, and in your device backups if you have them turned on. We do not hold a copy, so we cannot recover them if your device is lost or reset or the app is deleted; restoring your own backup may bring them back.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop offering it. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest change, and using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we exclude implied warranties.
To the extent the law allows, KLM Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, wasted materials, rework or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live, including any statutory right to a refund or remedy. If a term conflicts with such a right, that right wins.
